Don't Act Foolish ( Moral Story)

Once  there was a donkey. He was a bad singer but always wanted to sing , in fact he sang all the time! Others wanted to stop him from singing because they did not like his song but the donkey never listened to anyone and used to sing always.
One day the donkey was going somewhere, in the middle of the way he met a fox. They greeted each other and began to talk, they found that they had almost same interests and they became very   good friends.
Fox told him about the pumpkin farms where there were a lot of sweet and ripe pumpkins. He said to the donkey," Dear friend, you are stronger than me so you can easily break the fence of the fields. In this way we can eat and enjoy the fresh pumpkins at night ". Now, it became their routine to go to the pumpkin farms and eat the sweet pumpkins as much as they wanted.

One day at night when they were eating pumpkins, donkey said to the fox, " Look at the weather, how pleasant it is! I will sing you a beautiful song. Fox said, " No!No! Please don't sing! If you will sing, the farmer will wake up and he will beat us. But donkey didn't agree with the fox. He said, " No, I will sing a song, you have to listen to my song.

The fox said, " O.k. you are not listening to me so sing at your own risk. I am going out of the field and he went out.
Donkey started singing, " La la la lala.....",  in such a loud voice. The farmer woke up and began to beat the donkey with a thick stick. Donkey forgot to sing and cried in pain. Fox was watching all the drama from outside the field but could do nothing for his friend.
Donkey the singer was punished for his singing!

  4. That's so true Aunt Mary. We do need to listen to good advice, but the dilemma always happens when you are not sure if it is good advice or not, so some of us will endure many beatings, ha ha ha.

    1. Hello RPD, well in this story fox given a very good advice but donkey did not listen him because he was a over confident fool . I think we should listen to our friend or well wisher sometimes if the person is wiser than us or understands the things better than us ;)

  5. Hey, Auntie!

I agree that it is always good to follow good advices.

Anyway, sometime it is a good thing to make our own experience even if that brings some beating as a prize! :)

  6. The donkey should learn the correct technique of stealing! Rule no. 1, no noise! I'm just kidding, Aunt Mary.

You have a nice story here teaching us to take heed of advices when necessary. Sometimes, the ego might be at the top notch, so it's not surprising when we tend to follow the head not the heart'

Wishing you a great day, too! :)
