My neighbor's little boy,
the naughty little guy.
he shouts all day,
in such a weird way.

He sings so loud,
and feels very proud.
the news is sad,
he sings so bad.

He plucks all the flowers,
sprinkles them on cars.
he dances on the road,
and jumps like a toad.'

He crushes cola can,
acts like superman.
he rings door bells,
"I didn't do!"....tells.

It's not all his fault,
his parents should have taught.
not to be like that,
to their little brat.

Excess Of Everything Is Bad - Short Story

Today Sunny's mother baked a cake. She is very good at making cakes and this one is Sunny's favorite. It has lot of dry fruits like walnut, almonds and cashew nuts. Sunny loves to eat this cake. Mommy gave him a big piece of cake to eat. He enjoyed it and then asked for more. Mommy gave him another piece and said, "This is enough for now, you can eat more after the dinner because this is too heavy so you should not eat too much at a time". She put the cake in the refrigerator.

" Sunny, I am going to neighbor's house, will be back in half an hour. Close the door.", said Mommy. " O.k. Mommy, bye!", Sunny said. Mommy went and Sunny started watching T.V. but he wasn't enjoying it. He was just thinking about the delicious cake Mommy made. He could not resist eating more of it himself. He went into the kitchen and opened the fridge, took out the cake and started eating eagerly. He ate more than half of it and when he got tired of eating, put it back into the fridge.

Mommy came back, Sunny did not show that he had eaten so much cake. After sometime his stomach started aching badly. He started crying, Mommy asked him, " What happened Sunny? Why are you crying?". " My stomach is aching Mommy, I ate too much cake. Please do something!" , said Sunny. " Oh my God! Sunny I told you that the cake is too heavy to digest but you did not listen to me", Mommy said. Sunny was continuously crying, holding his stomach. Poor Mommy got so worried and immediately called her family doctor. Sunny's condition was getting worse.

At last doctor came, and treated Sunny, he was also given an injection. Sunny hated injections but what could he do now?

Doctor warned him not to eat too much again! Sunny promised to do so because he had seen the result of over eating.

THE FASTEST ANIMAL ON THE EARTH!

My dear children, today I am going to tell you about the animal which can run faster than any other animal in the world. This is the fastest animal on the earth , the Cheetah! Some of you must be familiar to this name.

Cheetah is the fastest land animal. It can cover the distance of 500 meters with the running speed of 112 km/hr to 120 km/hr in 5 minutes. You will be surprised to hear that cheetah can accelerate its speed from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 5 seconds. Cheetah is mostly found in Africa and some places of Middle-East. Isn't that an amazing animal?

Tree provides the shelter and food,
Cleans up the air and makes it good.

Trees bring clouds and trees bring rain,
Let them flourish on our land.

Tree adds beauty to our place,
With its goodness and its grace!

Good Things Come In Small Packages ( Moral Story)

Moral Story

Once upon a time there was a very big Banyan tree in a jungle.So many birds lived on the tree but since some days the birds were facing a big problem. From somewhere a very big black cobra came and started living under the tree. He completely destroyed the peaceful and happy life of the birds. Whenever he wanted he crawled up on the tree and ate the eggs of those birds which were kept in their nests. He also had eaten up many birds. Birds couldn't find the way to get rid of that devil snake.

A small bird among those was very intellegent. ''She made a plan to kill the snake.''

There was a pond near the tree. A prince used to come daily to that pond for taking bat.One day when the prince came to the pond to take a bath and kept his gold chain on a stone, The small clever bird held the gold chain in its beak and put it just in front of the opening of the snake's hole. When the prince had taken the bath, he found that his gold chain was missing. He ordered the soldiers to search for the chain. One of the soldiers saw the chain and the moment he went to pick it up, the snake came out and tried to bite the him.The man took out his sword and killed the dangerous snake.
And this is how the one small bird saved many birds' life by her keen intelligence.

THE HIGHEST WATERFALL ON THE EARTH!

Dear Children, do you know which is the highest waterfall in the world? It's Angel Falls!
Angel Falls is the highest waterfall in the world with a height of 979 meters ( 3212 feet ). It flows off the mountain called Auyantepui in Canaima National Park in Venezuela, a country in the continent South America. It is also one of the UNESCO World heritage sites.

The base of this amazing waterfall flows into the Kerrep river which flows into Churun River. The water falls from so far that the water becomes mist on reaching the bottom.

Do you know from where did the Angel Falls get its name? It is named after Jimmy Angels, a pilot of an airplane, that crashed at the top of the falls in 1937. Angel Falls is a very famous tourist attraction of Venenzuela.

THE RUDE OLD MAN ( Short Story)

All the children of that small colony called him, "Uncle Rude!". He lived alone in a big house.People talked about him that he lost his wife and his only son in an accident. The loneliness and the pain of losing the loved ones made him a rude person. His house was park facing, that very big park was the only park in that colony where children of that small township came everyday to play, chat and relax after finishing their homework. The reason of calling the old man, "Uncle Rude!" was that he always forbade the children from playing in the park. Poor children! They had no other place to play, where would they go? All work and no play is not good for children.

The children complained about him to their parents. The parents tried many times to convince the old man but he wouldn't listen! He was a very nasty person. As he was too old so the parents did not want to make an issue. They told the children that they should try to play quietly in the park. For some days the kids tried to play without making any noise but how could they? It is but natural that when children are together there would be some noise. Again, the old man started to scare the children and stopped them from playing.

One day when he was shouting at the kids," You naughty kids go from here and never come here again!". Suddenly from somewhere a big dog came there. The old man who was already in a very bad mood, picked up his stick and tried to hit the dog. The dog bit the old man's hand. The old man's hand was bleeding, he was really in pain. He sat down and started crying like a child. Though he always behaved badly with the children, they went near him to see him. They felt pity for him and wanted to help him. One of them said, " Please don't cry uncle my mother is a doctor, I am going to call her here". The other kids helped him to stand and made him sit on a bench. Meanwhile that kid returned with his mother, who brought a medical box with her. She treated him, the parents of other children also came there because one of the kids informed them about the whole incident. They took the old man into his house.
The old man was overwhelmed by this kind gesture of the small kids and their parents. He became very emotional and began to feel extremely sorry for his bad behavior towards the lovely, helpful kids.He decided that he would live with the kids and the people of that place nicely and would never misbehave with them again.
And now Uncle rude has become a dude. He even comes in the park daily to play and chat with the kids, tells them interesting stories. The loneliness of his life has gone. Little angels have made his life beautiful again.

THE SMALLEST BIRD IN THE WORLD(Article)

My dear children, do you know which is the smallest bird in the world? Well, the answer is that Bee Humming Bird is the smallest bird in the world. It is so small in size, just a bit larger than an insect, that is why it has been given the name Bee Humming Bird. This bird is found in the forest of Cuba. It weighs only 1.6 gram to 2 gram. It is about 5-6 cm long. The male is smaller than female.

Bee humming bird  flies so fast! The speed of flying is 15 m/sec. It can flap its wings 80 times per second. It is the only bird in the world which can fly backwards also! Is not the beautiful and colorful Bee Humming bird an amazing bird? What do you think?    -Aunt Mary

TRUE FRIENDSHIP(Moral Story)

Dear children, this is the story about four friends who lived in a jungle.The four friends were a rat ,a deer,a turtle and a bird. They loved and cared for each other.

One day one the deer went very far away in search of fresh grass and did not come back. The other three friends got worried about the deer ,they waited till the morning and then decided to go to search the deer one by one. First the bird went to look for her friend. She flied here and there for a long time and at last she found the deer. She landed on the ground and went close to the deer who was caught in a net by some cruel hunter.

The deer said to the bird ,"Dear friend now my life is going to end, the hunter will eat me up". " Don't worry my friend just hang on there I'll be right back". Said the bird.

Bird went to her friends the rat and the turtle and told them everything. Rat said to the bird,"Hold me in your claws and take me there''.
"I will follow you" Said the turtle. The bird held the rat in her claws and started flying. They reached the place where the deer was caught in a net. The rat cut the net with its sharp teeth and took the deer out.

Meanwhile the turtle also reached there.When they were going back , the hunter came and saw them.
As you know the turtle walks very slow so the hunter caught the turtle. The other three friends reached a safe place and started thinking that how they could save the turtle. The deer said, "I will go there and act as if my one leg has got hurt so the hunter would think that I can't run fast. He will then try to catch me, and when he will come after me I'll run very fast and will make myself safe.Meanwhile you both go to the turtle and get him out of the net and get away from there quickly". They completed their task and made the turtle free.

Moral of the story- True friends are always there for you.

O, dear Winter pack your bag,

Let spring come and you go back.

Buds wish to open,plants want to bloom,
Time for bees to make some room.

Flowers wait to blossom,leaves want to grow,
Birds keen to sing and breeze wants to blow.

  Gardens opening arms to welcome butterflies,
     Earth is eager to tilt towards sunrise.

   Season of renewal,season of rebirth
