The River (Poem )

A mother with her child is standing on the river bank and looking at the moving river

                                    Splash,splash, splash
                                    hear the sound of water,
                                    Gush, gush, gush
                                    look at the gushing river.
The river is on  it's way,
                                    nothing can make it stay.
                                    Rapidly flows and goes,
                                    where to go it knows.
It has to merge in the ocean,
                                    ocean.. it's final destination.

A river is flowing

MY MOM'S PRESSURE COOKER

My dear children, did you enjoy the food that your mom cooked for you today ? Mommy makes food by using different ways of cooking, right ? Some times she cooks the food in a frying pan by frying the food items, some times she roasts or bakes the food  by using microwave or oven and  sometimes she cooks the meal using pressure cooking method in a " PRESSURE COOKER . "
Today I am going to tell you something about pressure cooker . I hope you will like the article and it will help you to understand how it works. The pressure cooker was invented by a french physicist Denis Pepin in the year of 1679.He named it the "digester ". He invented it to reduce the time, used for cooking food . He presented his invention in front of Royal Society and King Charles II . He demonstrated that how the digester cooked the food like meat and fish in lesser time than any other cooking method .It was how the pressure cooker was invented.

A pressure cooker cooks the food quickly because it is a hermetically sealed pot which produces steam heat . The  pressure cooker is air tight that's why the steam present in the pot cannot go out . It heats the water to produce very high steam which forces the temperature  inside the cooker as high as 266° F (130° C) so high temperature  that it cooks the food faster and quicker.

The food is cooked faster so it does not loose minerals and vitamins
vitamins . It needs a less quantity of water for cooking and it can cook every kind of food . It is also good for saving energy because it takes much lesser time than any other cooking device . Isn't  that a wonderful
invention.

Safety rules - 1.Always check your equipment before using it.
                      2. Use enough amount of water and oil.

                     3. Release the steam when the pot is cooled down .

                     4. Always clean the pot properly .

                     5. Do not fill any pressure cooker more than 2/3 full.

                     6. Moms should not  let the children get too close to the  pressure cooker.

I hope that you and your mom will find the article informative and helpful .

DON'T SPEAK ILL OF OTHERS BEHIND THEIR BACK (Moral Story)

A long time ago there was a' Gurukul' (Hostel) in which children used to live and study. Among those children there were two kids who were brilliant in studies . They were favorite students of Guruji(The Teacher ).
Both of them were  very good friends too . Many years passed by and now teacher decided to take the test of the children . All the children did well in the test specially the two favorites of him . The teacher found both of them equally good and they got equal marks too , he was very happy but he wanted to know that whether both students had put there knowledge into practice.

One day he called one of them and said to him "Dear, you and your friend did equally well in exam I am glad that the two of you are such good students , now I want to know that what do you think of your friend ? " The boy said " Guruji ", I have learned all the subjects by heart but he learnt them by rote, I think he has no brains he is like an" OX". Oh, never mind dear , experience will teach him every thing " said the teacher, "you can go now son".
After meeting the first student he called the second one and asked the same question to him . The boy said " Guruji I have gained my knowledge by understanding it, but my friend has achieved it by rote. He is just like a"CAMEL"."Oh , never mind. Experience will teach him every thing ," teacher repeated the same words and asked him to leave.
Next day their teacher  invited both  the boys for lunch . The two boys became so happy because it was a big honor for them .The lunch was served and what a shock ! while there was the normal meal was served for Guruji, but for the boys there were only leaves and grass !
The teacher said" you called each other  an ox and  camel so here is your food , grass for the ox and leaves for the camel".' Please have it'.

One little girl... always talks,
All friends call her Miss chatter box.

Talks at home and talks at school,

Every time breaks the "keep quiet rule".

Talks on the phone and talks in the park,
Seems that she was born to talk.
