"FACTS ABOUT THE NAMES OF WEEKDAYS ''

Hello my dear children, how are you all ?Today I am going to tell you some facts about the days of the week.As you all know there are seven days of week . But do know these seven days named after Gods, sun, moon and five planets which are visible.These names originally taken from Greek and Roman mythology .

SUNDAY- Sunday is named after the "Sun" and the "Sun God "
                                           

Monday- Monday is named after the "Moon" and" Moon God ".

TUESDAY- Tuesday is named after the planet "Mars" and the Norse God of war and justice  " Tiw".

                                                                           

WEDNESDAY- Wednesday is named after planet "Mercury" and 'Woden" or "Odin" the Anglo-Saxon chief of Gods.

THURSDAY-Thursday is named after the planet "Jupiter" and Norse God "Thor"the God of thunder.

FRIDAY-Friday is named after the planet" Venus" and the Norse Goddess of love" Freyja".

SATURDAY- Saturday is named after the planet "Saturn" and the Roman God "Saturn".

MONDAY'S CHILD (Famous Nursery Rhyme )

Monday's child is fair of face,

Tuesday's child is full of grace ,

Wednesday's child is full of woe, 

Thursday's child has far to go,

Friday's child is loving and giving,

Saturday's child works hard for living.

And the child that is born on the sabbath day

Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay .

The Right Move ( Short Story)

                                      
People called him "Thin Lee". The reason for calling him with that name was that he was a skinny boy who knew some basic rules of Judo and considered himself as the" Next Bruce Lee". He had a big misunderstanding  about him that he was"Master of Judo" and every one is so impressed by this skill of him and nobody will dare to take the fight with him . No one cleared his misunderstanding because they didn't want to loose the chance of laughing at him behind his back . Everyone joked about him and enjoyed talking about him. 

One day some  kids told Thin Lee , "Bro ,a new boy has come to live in our colony and we told him about you that how good you are in judo and how brave you are, and the  boy said bad things  about you and challenged us that he can beat you".(Obviously they were lying, just to have fun )
 Thin Lee said "Let me see him, where is that coward who speaks behind my back"  Without thinking for a second that the kids were actually provoking him for fight.The naughty kids told him that the boy is in the playing field..Thin Lee went to the field followed by those kids . 
                                                                 

'Look! there he is  !One kid whispered in Lee's ear. And what Thin Lee saw was beyond his imagination, the boy was as big and strong as a little "SUMO."Thin Lee at once forgot all  about  his so called  Judo skills and got too scared . "Yes what do you want ?" The big boy asked Thin Lee ." Oh just nothing, I heard a lot about you and just wanted to meet you . "Thin Lee put his hand forward to shake hands with big boy. While he was doing this he heard  the giggling sound coming from back, he turned back and saw the kids who provoked him were laughing . 
From that day Thin Lee stopped to show off  because he realized the reality that how people fooled him because of that.Good for Thin Lee.                                                                                        -Aunt Mary 

Our Dreams (Poem)

 
Dreams are happy and dreams are sad 
dreams are good and dreams are bad. 

Dreams are funny and dreams are naughty,
sometimes dreams are queer and funky. 

Our dreams take us to another world,
our dreams make us happy or scared.

WITCHES, WITCHES JUST BE THERE, PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE!!

Witches are scary , but we enjoy watching them in movies, television serials and plays don't we ?We love to read a book which has a character of  a witch because it makes a book more interesting . Though we never, ever want to face a witch in real life . Oh God ! Nobody wants you witches, in reality  , but please ,  just remain in movies and books , because you are one of the most loved characters of scary movies and children's stories, we love to see you on big and small screens and also in books.
                                       

Your wicked smile says all about your intentions , your claw-like finger nails are too scary to look at.  We know about your deal with devil and are also aware of your dirty black magic with the help of which you can ruin the beautiful lives of others.

You want to scare us with your weird looking pointy hat, your ugly black dress , your long nose with wart. No, we don't want to feel your presence in whispering of falling  leaves. So stay away from our world and entertain us in virtual world. Because there is no fun to watch a horror film without feeling scared and you are the best creature for scaring and entertaining the people.

Bad Company Corrupts Good Morals ( Moral Story)

                                
Once upon a time a tribal king who was a very big dealer of birds too, went to jungle in search of birds.There he caught two parrots and some other birds. When he was returning  home, he stopped for taking some rest and lied down under a tree. While the king was resting , one of the two parrots escaped from the net.

The king  got up  and found that one parrot was missing but what he could do now .He took the other birds with him and went home. Tribal king kept the second parrot as a pet in his house . The Tribal king was a kind of person who talked  rudely  and always used harsh words whenever he spoke to others . He also used the bad language and he taught the same way of talking to his parrot. The parrot learnt the language of  king.

The first parrot who escaped , reached to a hermit's place and the hermit kept it with him .The hermit taught him to speak politely and to use good language while speaking.The parrot learnt to speak like that.

   One day a  king of neighboring state passed by near the tribal king's house. The pet parrot of that tribal king  looked him coming and shouted in such a harsh voice " How dare you to come here.... 

come on soldiers , beat him like a donkey." 

The king was shocked to hear that and he immediately left that place.

Now that king reached near the hermit's place and the hermit's parrot greeted him," Oh , It's so nice to have you here sir,please come inside."  

   The king was so happy at his welcome, he praised the hermit and the parrot and became their friend.
