When he was returning  home, he stopped for taking some rest and lied down under a tree. While the king was resting , one of the two parrots escaped from the net.

The king  got up  and found that one parrot was missing but what he could do now .He took the other birds with him and went home. Tribal king kept the second parrot as a pet in his house . The Tribal king was a kind of person who talked  rudely  and always used harsh words whenever he spoke to others . He also used the bad language and he taught the same way of talking to his parrot. The parrot learnt the language of  king.

The first parrot who escaped , reached to a hermit's place and the hermit kept it with him .The hermit taught him to speak politely and to use good language while speaking. The parrot learnt to speak like that.
One day a  king of neighboring state passed by near the tribal king's house. The pet parrot of that tribal king  looked him coming and shouted in such a harsh voice " How dare you to come here....
come on soldiers , beat him like a donkey."

The king was shocked to hear that and he immediately left that place.
Now that king reached near the hermit's place and the hermit's parrot greeted him," Oh , It's so nice to have you here sir, please come inside."
The king was so happy at his welcome, he praised the hermit and the parrot and became their friend.

He looked at the pot of curd and thought," In the morning I will make butter from the milk, from the butter I will make ghee (clarified butter ) and then I will sell the ghee  in the market at a good price , then I will buy  hens by that money ,the hens will lay eggs .... and I will sell the eggs....and....and....,'' He started daydreaming.
''I will buy a sheep , sheep will have lambs , then I can sell those lambs and will become rich.''The daydreaming continued...

''After being rich I will marry a beautiful girl and have children.
It will be small happy family. I shall be a very good father but very strict too, if my kids will not obey me I will slap them hard.''

Oh, never mind dear , experience will teach him every thing " said the teacher, "you can go now son".
After meeting the first student he called the second one and asked the same question to him . The boy said " Guruji I have gained my knowledge by understanding it, but my friend has achieved it by rote. He is just like a"CAMEL"."Oh , never mind. Experience will teach him every thing ," teacher repeated the same words and asked him to leave.

The Clever Monkey and The Crocodile ( Moral Story)

Once there was a  big jamun tree  on the bank of a river .The tree was  home for many monkeys . Monkeys were very fond of  sweet, ripe and delicious jamuns (purple colored sweet fruit) of that tree .  Among those monkeys was a monkey named ' Pintu. He was very naughty. One day Pintu was swinging on the tree  and singing a song . He saw a crocodile in the water . The crocodile said to the monkey, "You sing so well, your voice is sweet and melodious . "  Pintu was so pleased to hear this. He said, "I have a sweet voice because I eat the sweet fruits of this tree , would you like to taste some ?". He threw some jamuns towards the crocodile which he tasted , "Wow what a delightful fruit it is ! You are so good , thank you so much for giving me these tasty fruits.''
Next day the crocodile came again and Pintu gave him fruits to eat . Soon the crocodile made this his routine to go there and eat the jamuns . Sometimes Pintu gave him some fruits for his wife too. Crocodile's wife ate those fruits and said to the crocodile, "These fruits are so delicious! The monkey eats these fruits daily so his flesh must be very tasty. Specially his heart. Now I want to eat that monkey's heart. If you want to see me happy then bring the heart of the monkey for me".

Next morning, crocodile came  and said, " Dear friend, my wife is so happy to receive your gift of fruits and she has invited you to our home for lunch. Monkey said, " But how can I go there, I cannot swim". Crocodile answered, " Don't worry! I will carry you on my back.
The crocodile carried him on his back and when they reached in the middle of the river, the wicked crocodile tried to drown the monkey in the river. The monkey became scared and said, " Are you trying to kill me?". " Yes I want to kill you.", the crocodile said rudely. He was totally a changed creature now. " But why?", the terrified monkey asked. " I want to kill you because I want your heart for my wife as she wants to eat it". Though the monkey was scared but he did not lose courage.''I must do something to save my life'' he thought. He said to the crocodile, "You don't need to kill me for that. We monkeys can keep our heart outside our body. We can survive without our heart. I have kept my heart in my tree house. You take me there and I will give my heart to you. It will be my pleasure,  after all you are my friend!"
As soon as they reached near the river bank , the monkey jumped from the crocodile's back and at once climbed up the tree. He said, " You liar! You have deceived me!  I tell you the truth, I have not kept my heart outside . How can any one live without his heart ? Now go away and never show your face to me again!"

Once upon a time, there was a man who lost all his money due to loss in his business. He was very depressed and decided to end his life. ''This is the last night of my life, tomorrow I will commit suicide'' he said to himself and went to sleep.
While he was asleep, he saw a dream that a monk came to him and said,"Don't end up your life. It is a sin. Tomorrow I'll visit your home, and you must hit on my head with a wooden stick, after that I'll change into gold and you will be rich again".
Next day in the morning, someone knocked at the door. The man opened the door thinking that the monk has come but it wasn't the monk, it was his neighbor. He let him come inside. "Knock..knock!" , somebody was again at the door. The man opened the door, oh! he couldn't believe his eyes.

It was the monk from his dream! The man hit on the monk's head with the stick and the miracle happened! The monk turned into gold. The man was extremely happy. His dream had come true. His neighbor saw it and was amazed! He tried to get the details of the whole incident from the man but he didn't tell him and instead replied, "You saw everything happen. It's a miracle".

The neighbor went to his home and said to himself, "Tomorrow I will invite many monks to my house and will hit them on their head and they will turn into gold. In this way I will become the richest person of the village". Next day he did the same. The monks were injured. They caught the man and informed the king about the incident.
King's soldiers came and took the man to the king. ''Why did you hit the monks ?''The king asked.
The man told the king,"I went to my neighbor's home and saw him hitting the monk who turned into gold. I just copied him. It is all his mistake".The king called the other man man and asked him to explain the whole matter. He told the king about his dream and the miracle.  " You can go, it's not your fault". King allowed him to go.
Now the king said to the man who had injured the monks, " You are a foolish and greedy person. You just copied your neighbor without thinking and hurt the monks". He put the man behind the bars.

Fox told him about the pumpkin farms where there were a lot of sweet and ripe pumpkins. He said to the donkey," Dear friend, you are stronger than me so you can easily break the fence of the fields. In this way we can eat and enjoy the fresh pumpkins at night ". Now, it became their routine to go to the pumpkin farms and eat the sweet pumpkins as much as they wanted.

One day at night when they were eating pumpkins, donkey said to the fox, " Look at the weather, how pleasant it is! I will sing you a beautiful song. Fox said, " No!No! Please don't sing! If you will sing, the farmer will wake up and he will beat us. But donkey didn't agree with the fox. He said, " No, I will sing a song, you have to listen to my song.

The fox said, " O.k. you are not listening to me so sing at your own risk. I am going out of the field and he went out.
Donkey started singing, " La la la lala.....",  in such a loud voice. The farmer woke up and began to beat the donkey with a thick stick. Donkey forgot to sing and cried in pain. Fox was watching all the drama from outside the field but could do nothing for his friend.

TRUE FRIENDSHIP(Moral Story)

Dear children, this is the story about four friends who lived in a jungle. The four friends were a rat ,a deer,a turtle and a bird. They loved and cared for each other.

One day one  the deer went very far away in search of fresh grass and did not come back. The other three friends got worried about the deer ,they waited till the morning and  then decided to go to search the deer one by one. First the bird  went to look for her friend. She flied here and there for a long time and at last she found the deer. She landed on the ground and went close to the deer who was caught in a net by some cruel hunter.

The deer said to the bird ,"Dear friend now my life is going to end, the hunter will eat me up".  " Don't worry my friend just hang on there I'll be right back". Said the bird.

Bird went to her friends the rat and the turtle and told them everything.  Rat said to the bird,"Hold me in your claws and take me there''.
"I will follow you" Said the turtle. The bird held the rat in her claws and started flying. They reached the place where the deer was caught in a net. The rat cut the net with its sharp teeth and took the deer out.

Meanwhile the turtle also reached there. When they were going back , the hunter came and saw them.
As you know the turtle walks very slow so the hunter caught the turtle. The other three friends reached a safe place and started thinking that how they could save the turtle. The deer said, "I will go there and act as if my one leg has got hurt so the hunter would think that I can't run fast. He will then try to catch me, and when he will come after me I'll run very fast and will make myself safe.Meanwhile you both go to the turtle and get him out of the net and get away from there quickly". They completed their task and made the turtle free.

THE MISER MAN ( Moral Story)

Dear children, this is the story of a miser man .Once upon a time there was a man who was very wealthy and rich . He had a lot of money and a treasure of gold coins, ornaments  and precious stones .But he was a very miser man he always wanted to spend  very less money ,even the money which he gave to his wife to run the house was not even sufficient to fulfill the basic needs of the family.
Though he was very rich but his wife and children  were living a life of poverty. He had a maid servant who he never paid on time and used to give her a very small salary .The maid was loyal towards the rich man's wife and children so she did not quit the job .One day the man thought maybe someone could steal his treasure so he went to the back yard and buried the treasure box under a tree.By chance a thief saw him doing so.When the man went back, the thief came and stole the treasure .Next morning the rich man went there and saw that his treasure had been stolen. He started crying loudly.A hermit saw him crying and asked him the reason. The man told him that someone had stolen his treasure box.The Hermit said,"Tell me the whole story, why did you bury the treasure? Don't hide anything from me,so that I can help you".The man told him everything.Meanwhile rich man's wife, his children and the maid came there. Hermit was a very learned man,and after listening what the rich man said and seeing the condition of his family members he immediately understood what the real matter was . He said to the man,"You are nothing but just a greedy and miser person .God almighty made you a rich and wealthy man but you did not share your wealth even with your family and the other person who serves you and helps you.You do not give them what they deserve being the family of a rich man like you. You have lost your treasure but that is a lesson for you, if you understand. Give your family members  their rights, and not just your family, share your money  and wealth with the people who deserve your help, the poor, the needy, the sick people.By the grace of God you will earn a lot of money if you continue  doing this good deed throughout your life ."
After saying that, the hermit went from there.  The miser man apologized to his  family and maid servant, he was a completely changed man now .He took them to the market and bought a lot of gifts for them ,he also distributed the gifts among poor people around there. He decided that he will always remain the same in his upcoming life. His wife and children were the happiest people on the earth.
