THE FASTEST BIRD IN THE WORLD (Article)

There are many birds which can fly very fast, but do you know which is the fastest bird among all those fast flying birds?
The fastest bird in the world is "PEREGRINE FALCON".Yes , this is the bird which can fly with the speed of 320km per hour (200mph). No other bird known, can match the flying speed of Peregrine Falcon in it's hunting dive.Falcons hit their pray in mid air. The unmatchable diving speed makes this bird so unique and amazing.

This bird is not very big in size, in fact it is about the size of a crow. The mass of Falcon is 1 or 2 k.g. It is usually 30 to 36 cm long. The thin tapered wings of Falcon help it to change it's direction during the flight.Another quality of Falcon is it's sharp vision.

The Crazy Old Woman And The Sky (Indian Folktale)

A very long time ago sky was not so high like it is now, in fact people could touch it from the roof of their houses . The sky was happy and so were the people.
There lived a crazy woman in a small, old, dusty village. The old woman lived alone in a cozy mud- hut. She had nothing to do but for sweeping, dusting, rubbing her hut and her household things.

One day a big dust storm came and there was dust everywhere. Dust on the roofs, dust on trees ,dust in the fields, dust in houses, dust everywhere.
The old woman got crazier to see so much dust and she started sweeping the dust . The sweeping made the dust to flow up and it went into the eyes of sky. Tears came in the eyes of sky because of dust particles and those tears dropped on the ground.

The crazy old woman got so angry with the sky to make her place wet and she poked the sky with her broom-stick . Poor sky got hurt and cried more with pain. The cruel woman again poked the sky. No other way was left for sky except going up. It went up and up and               "That is why the sky is so high."

So dear children, Santa is favorite of all of you and you love him so much . Am I right? This kind looking ,old, big, cheerful man who has white hair and white beard and wears a red dress and is supposed to bring gifts for kids  is also known as father Christmas or Saint Nicholas. It is believed that Santa lives in north pole with his wife and some elves who make toys for the good kids of the world. Santa has a reindeer to pull his sledge.
People  believe that Santa makes a list every year, which contains the names of good and bad children and it is said that he gives the gifts to well-behaved and  good kids and coal to the naughty children on the Christmas eve . It is also believed that he enters in the house of good children through the chimneys of fireplace.
"'Saint Nicholas"' inspired the legend of Santa Claus. Saint Nicholas lived in 4th century AD who used to give the gifts ,secretly to needy people and children. People left their shoes out for him and he put coins in the shoes. Isn't it amazing?

BIRD OF TIME ( Poem)

Bird of time is flying so fast,
all days present, turned into past ..                                                                       seasons came and seasons gone,
years have passed one by one..
   .                                  days disappeared, moments gone,
time is moving on and on...
who can make the time stay?
it is going... just it's way.
